SmarTek21 partnered with our client’s Enterprise IT team and architected their Sales Commissions Systems building adapters and integrating with IBM Varicent Sales compensation product. The development required several technology skill sets on Data warehousing, ETL and Data Integration as well as business domain knowledge on how sales commissions are configured and calculated. This project also requires building dashboards for managers and executives with BI Analytics and Reports on commissions data.
The client had invested in a different product before this implementation, and the development wasn’t successful. The client changed their strategy to pick another product, and decided to hire SmarTek21 to build this solution implementing Varicent. This project had lots of visibility at the executive level and the projects’ success was dependent upon working with several teams to get all required data ingested into our sales commission systems.
SmarTek21 built the Commissions systems integrating data from several systems and feeding them to IBM Varicent for sales compensation. We architected this solution to build several adapters to connect to various source systems, APIs and Web Services. We built Data warehousing in the local environment that supported all BI needs from each of our client’s business teams. We also built dashboards for visualization and administered / managed the reporting sites with appropriate security levels.
Our team deployed the solution as planned, and it removed all complex manual process that the client had to go through before the product went live. The client has been relying on the SmarTek21 team for any commissions related queries from internal customers as well as external dealers for the past three years.
